Abstract

This article seeks to explain the main harmful practices, regarding the theme of fishing practiced in the waters of the river Itapecuru, within the limits of the municipality of Itapecuru Mirim. Approaching from the geographical aspects of the entire basin, such as the main streams, which are part of the delimited geographical area. In this context, the consequences and possible solutions are highlighted to alleviate such disastrous, which is the loss of so much biodiversity
